Fairmat advanced recycled material replaces aluminum, plastic and other materials to improve performance, reduce costs and environmental impact. Our recycled material is one of the lowest CO2-emitting materials.
Examples: Taking into account the avoided impacts of replacing virgin materials, Fairmat products will save 15 000 metric tons of CO2e every year. Fairmat laminates have 43% lower impacts on GHG emissions (in kg CO2e) than aluminum. The comparison was made with comparable properties (eq. 1 kg of Fairmat is compared to 1.2 kg of aluminum due to better mechanical properties).
Tested for maximum impact, strength, and flexibility. Our materials exceed the required physical and mechanical properties found in commonly-used wood, plastic and metal materials.
